New Tractor Delivered Nov. 9

A new Massey Ferguson tractor complete with all the needed attachments was delivered on Friday Nov. 9 to Geneva Point Center.  This is a strongly needed addition to our Building and Grounds equipment as the old tractor was over 40 years young.  The new tractor has already seen action grading our roads.  It will also be used to mow, plow snow, and much more.  Check it out the next time you visit the site.  In the photos below we see Greg Widman, Director of Operations, receiving the tractor from the representative of Knoxland Equipment Inc. of Warner, NH.

Cottage F Gets a New Porch

Much needed work is taking place on Cottage F.  The porch has, for some time, not only looked bad, but was becoming a safety issue.  This fall we are replacing and improving the porch.  Hope you notice when you come next year.

New Curtains for Gibbes Created by Quilters

The "Hide A Way Quilters" who have been coming to Geneva Point for quilting weekend for a number of years volunteered recently to sew new curtains for Gibbes House.  The work was completed recently and the curtains are installed soon.  This, along with new bedspreads, new sleeper sofas and new mattresses have helped make Gibbes more comfortable and looking much better.  We hope to change the carpet soon.  Thanks so much to the Hide A Way Quilters for this wonderful gift.
